2026 High Summer Readathon - Shall we begin?

My apologies for not having this starting post live at midnight. If some of you have already started reading, go you! Let's get this party started officially.

If you have any questions about how things work, check out the guidelines in the sidebar menu or the sign up post, or you can always leave me a comment (or send me a message via the contact form). The linky below is the same one as the sign up linky. If you do a starting line/goal post, just add your link again, but be sure to put "goal post" beside your name, i.e. Michelle @ True Book Addict (goals or goal post).

Some orders of business...

• The High Summer 24-Hour event will be on Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 am Eastern time. I will be doing most of my updates and check-ins on Discord (invite link to our Discord). Discord is free to join and it would be cool to have some lively chats over there. There will be a post here the day before the 24-Hour event starts. Full details about the 24-Hour readathon events on the Guidelines page.

News about upcoming fall events:

I've already started planning for Something Wicked Fall and the FrightFall Readathon! During FrightFall in October, I'm trying to decide on the 24-Hour readathon portion of the event. There is a poll live in our Discord if you want to weigh in (if you haven't already). Access the server via the Discord link above, or in the sidebar. It's an invite link, if you're not already a member. Be sure to get your vote in soon. The poll closes in two days.
