2026 High Summer Readathon - Let's escape into some reading!

You'll be happy to know...I keep telling myself, "Get it together, Michelle!" So hopefully, these late signups will not continue. I apologize. This summer is quickly becoming in need of an escape hatch. I didn't have extreme heat and hazardous air pollution on my BINGO card. Yikes! I'm really hoping to catch up on some reading during this readathon. How about you?

We start at 12:00 am eastern time on August 1st and end at 11:59 pm eastern time on August 31st. (There is a handy link to a time zone converter in the sidebar menu.) Guidelines for the readathon can be found HERE or you can access in the sidebar menu. Any information you need about our readathons can be found there.

Some orders of business...

• The High Summer 24-Hour event will be on Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 am Eastern time. I will be doing most of my updates and check-ins on Discord (invite link to our Discord). Discord is free to join and it would be cool to have some lively chats over there. There will be a post here the day before the 24-Hour event starts.
