Sci-Fi Summer 2023 - Mid-Event Check-in

How is the sci-fi (fantasy) reading going? On my end, I just finished Subhuman by Michael McBride,and steadily making my way through The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. Finishing up the first half of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World for our read-along over at Gather Together and Read. Hoping to have the first discussion post up over there tomorrow.

This is a readathon participant only giveaway. To be eligible, you must have signed up, participated and added a link to the official readathon wrap-up post at the end of the readathon (I will give everyone until Friday, July 7th at 11:59 pm EDT to complete their wrap-ups). We no longer use a linky for wrap-ups. The Google form link on our wrap-up post is where you will enter your info, your wrap-up link, and answer yes/no on whether you want to win a prize or not. 2023 Sci-Fi Summer Readathon - Boldly GO!

Time to start our science fiction (fantasy) month! Ready?

Since science fiction is a very specific genre, this will be strictly reading science fiction during the event. However, since fantasy is so closely related to the genre (often grouped together), if you feel more comfortable reading fantasy, that is also fine.

If you have any questions about how things work, check out the guidelines in the sidebar menu or the sign up post, or you can always leave me a comment (or send me a message via the contact form). The linky below is the same one as the sign up linky. If you do a starting line/goal post, just add your link again, but be sure to put "goal post" beside your name, i.e. Michelle @ True Book Addict (goals or reading goals).

Prizes - I always give away two prizes...a charity donation (see below) and a small prize at the end. I may have one prize donation from an author as well. Depending on how many prizes we end up with, I will either post a prize page, or I will list the prizes in the mid-event check-in post (details below).
