#FrightFall Read-a-Thon - Wrapping up

FrightFall is at an end. It was great fun and I hope everyone got a lot of good reading in this week.

I'd like to thank you all for joining me. Be sure to add your wrap-up link below (I want to stop by and see how you did with your reading) and please double check that you were signed up HERE so you will be eligible for the giveaway. You have until Wednesday, October 12 at 11:59pm CDT to add your wrap-up link. I will draw giveaway winners as soon as I can. Please be sure to note the system of drawing winners in the giveaway details on the prize page and fill out the Google form at the bottom). And now for a big round of applause for the authors who so generously donated our prizes. Thank you!

Some news that came about this read-a-thon. Shaunesay @ The Space Between put a bee in my bonnet over in the Facebook group about extending FrightFall for the whole month. While I couldn't really do it this year, that bee was buzzing so I put the poll out to the group. How about making FrightFall a month long next year? And guess what...the votes were overwhelmingly YES! So next year we will be going the whole month. Yay! I may have to get a helper or two to assist me in visiting blogs, but other than that, I think it's a great idea. I generally read scary all October anyway. Win!

Up next, we have the Christmas Spirit Read-a-Thon which will be November 21 - 27. The read-a-thon helps kick off my yearly Christmas Spirit Reading Challenge, hosted at my Christmas blog, which runs from November 21 through Twelfth Night, January 6, 2017. I will have a button made with grab code in the sidebar this week and sign-up will be the first week in November.  I hope you will join us.

Good luck in the giveaway to all!!! And thanks again for joining me!

  1. Thank you, Michelle, for hosting this. I love excuses to read all day even though I don't read very fast. I enjoyed it!

  2. This was a lot of fun, thank you for hosting! I think a month-long event next year would be great!

  3. I can't get back on FB, so missed the poll but love the idea! I actually just completed a two week read-a-thon last month on another blog and loved that so much! One week seems to fly by so fast, and some days life just gets too busy and you don't end up squeezing reading time in. I like the longer read-a-thons!

    1. Oh, and I definitely am joining the Christmas Spirit read-a-thon! I will add the button to my sidebar as soon as you have it posted.

  4. Thank you for hosting the Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon.
Looking forward to the Christmas Spirit Read-a-thon.

  6. Thanks again for hosting! I can't wait until the Christmas Spirit Read-a-thon and Reading Challenge!

  7. I had a lot of fun! I'll try to participate in the Christmas one too!

  8. This looks like a fun one! I hope to participate next year when my schedule clears up a bit. :)
