Sci-Fi Summer Read-a-Thon - Starting Post #SciFiSummerJune

It's here! The new, exciting event here on Seasons of Reading. A big thanks once again to Mallory (The Haunted Reading Room), who suggested it in the first place. Here are the details again from the sign up post:

Details:
  • Read-a-Thon dates: Wednesday, June 1 at 12:00am CST until Tuesday, June 7 at 11:59pm CST (adjust your time zone accordingly). I wanted to try out a different day configuration this time.
  • Since Sci-Fi is a very specific genre, this will be strictly reading science fiction during the event. However, since fantasy is so closely related to science fiction, if you feel more comfortable reading fantasy, that is also fine.
  • to check in on Twitter, we'll use hashtag #SciFiSummerJune  (You can also use the hashtag on Facebook.)
  • as usual, you do not have to have a blog to participate...feel free to link up and check in from Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, etc. These days, it seems most of our activity goes on in our Facebook group which I love. The interaction in our group is fabulous!
If you have any questions about how things work, check out the guidelines tab above or the sign up post, or you can always leave me a comment (or send me a message via the contact form). The linky below is the same one as the sign up linky. If you do a starting line/goal post, just add your link again, but be sure to put "goal post" beside your name, i.e. Michelle/The True Book Addict (goal post).

I'm offering one prize this time and I might have another prize donation. I'll let you know when I post the mid-week check in on Saturday.

That's it! Good luck and have fun. I'm pretty excited to finally be focusing on some Sci-Fi reading. Long neglected.
