Giveaway Details
This is a readathon participant only giveaway. To be eligible, you must have signed up, participated and added a link to the official readathon wrap-up post at the end of the readathon (I will give everyone until Monday, September 6th at 11:59 pm EDT to complete their wrap-ups). We no longer use a linky for wrap-ups. The Google form on our wrap-up post is where you will enter your info, your wrap-up link, and answer yes/no on whether you want to win a prize or not. I will choose the winner of the above prize by random selection using random.org Winners will be chosen after the wrap-up post deadline (see above).

Enjoy the rest of the readathon and...

if you haven't already seen this on social media, here's a little tease of what's coming this fall. The Something Wicked Fall event does not require sign-up. A post with full details will be up on Castle Macabre before the end of the month. Sign-up for the FrightFall Readathon will go up in September. Excited?! I am!!!

High Summer Readathon - Late Start!

First of all, I'm SO sorry for not having this post up at midnight! I don't what I was thinking. I guess I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that July is over already. Plus, I've just had a lot going on in my life of late. Luckily, Joshua emailed me...checked my email while I was out seeing The Green Knight today (GREAT movie!)....otherwise I may never have posted it. Not really though. lol

Anyway, let's get this party started (I'm sure many of you already have) and again, I apologize for my lateness!

Don't forget that you can participate even if you don't have a blog. Just link up with your Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (and just post your updates from whichever venue you choose) AND don't forget to interact with us in our groups on Facebook and Goodreads, Facebook Page, and we're on Instagram! If you have any questions about updates, etc., feel free to ask. I will be posting a mid-event check-in here, and I will do my best to interact across social media.

Check out our group on Slack. Slack is free so all you have to do is visit this link (https://join.slack.com/t/seasonsofreading/shared_invite/zt-ok63sxb8-FSjhen3BEWXBg8dynApS5Q), sign up, and you're in. Just be sure to join the High Summer channel. You can see it in the left sidebar in the Slack group. Stop by any time to chat during the entire month!

I did not receive any prize donations this time, but I will be offering a small book prize, in addition to the charity prize (details below). I will not do a prize page this time. I will list my book prize on the mid-event check-in page.

Going forward for every event - My charity donation prize will be awarded at the beginning of the readathon. How that will work is...anyone who signs up in the linky AND fills out the form (link to the form is below) will be entered in the draw for the charity prize. Prize details are....

I will make a $15 donation to the winner's choice of a social justice organization, such as the ACLU, Boys and Girls Club, Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, Amnesty International, It Gets Better, Planned Parenthood, or another social justice organization of your choice (food banks, homeless shelters, animal rights/rescue/shelters would also apply), perhaps your local chapter or a local organization. This giveaway is open internationally. Note: I will not donate to any organization that does not believe all are equal, regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation.

I hope you will consider having your donation made to one of these organizations fighting on the front lines of the Black Lives Matter movement (click each link to learn more).

Unicorn Riot
NAACP Legal Defense Fund
Campaign Zero
Movement for Black Lives
BYP100
TGI Justice Project
Audre Lorde Project

Social media hashtag across all platforms - #HSreadathon (you can also use #Readathon).

If you have any questions about how things work, check out the guidelines tab in the menu or the sign up post, or you can always leave me a comment. This is the same linky used for sign-ups so if you do a starting line/goal post, just add your link again, but be sure to put "goal post" beside your name, i.e. Michelle/True Book Addict (goal post).
Note: If you're just signing up, you can do it here on this post. It's the same linky.
